- How long have you been a member of Toluna?
A member since Sept 2016 - What is your favorite topic to create content on?
I like to choose “Topics” that stir emotions in people or to see another side to something. Polls – A general curiosity subject on lots of things that are of interest to a lot of people - How many times a week do you log into Toluna?
At least 2 times a day ( but usually more if I have a chance ) - What is your favorite contest to enter on Toluna?
I like them all – fun to see everyone’s thoughts and opinions - What would you like to see more of on Toluna?
Love to see lots of variety of subjects - What do you like best about Toluna?
Of course – we all like the rewards but I do like to read about others opinions and perspectives. It’s also fun to be part of a growing community of members.

We will tally those bonuses for the week, and the member with the most Content Bonuses will be awarded an additional 5,000 points for their great contributions to the site, and will be named our Member of the Week. Along with their 5,000 points, they can choose to participate in our Member of the Week interview and earn an additional 3,000 points.

How To Earn Rank Up Bonuses
Hello Members,
As some of you may know, Toluna gives members points bonuses everyday for creating good quality Polls, Topics, Thumbs It, and Battles in the community!
The Toluna Team scours the community for high-quality posts, including a picture or video, no spelling errors and interesting content. If we find yours, and you fall under those qualifications, we will give your content a “rank up” meaning it will appear in the popular stream, and you will also receive points for this. It can be anywhere between 100-1000 points. You will receive a written notification on your wall like the one below letting you know that you received this bonus.
Here are Toluna Team’s tips for creating content that will get rewarded:
- Always include a visual: Whether you prefer videos or photos, always include a visual when creating on Toluna. Don’t have a photo or video on hand? No problem, simply click on the video camera or camera to use our built in search tool to choose among thousands of good quality images.
- Check your grammar and spelling: Before posting, take a minute to re-read, even spell-check your post!
- New themes and topics: Did you read an interesting headline this morning? Is there something you have been wondering about this week? Create a Poll, Topic, Thumb It or Battle and discuss it with the community. Toluna is always on the lookout for timely and relevant conversations in the community.
- Interact with other members: Have other members been voting and commenting on your Topic? Say “thank you” on their wall or respond to them in the comments to keep the conversation going! When it comes to interesting topics in the community, the more members participating… the merrier!
Remember, if you earn enough rank up bonsues, you could become our Member of the Week which earns an additional 5,000 points!

Good afternoon members,
Thank you to those members who attended our webinar on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015. As promised, I have answered all of your questions here. If you missed this one, don’t worry! We will hold another in a few months. Stay tuned for details.
1. How do you earn bonus points?
Rank up bonuses are given at the discretion of the Toluna staff. We don’t reward everyone every day. We scour the dashboard looking for high quality content. Here is some information on rank up bonuses.
2. Can another adult in the household join Toluna?
Yes, members of the same household can sign up for Toluna.
3. Do we get a notification when our points are about to expire?
There will be a reminder, on the My Points page, to let you know how many points are expiring and when.
4. Do you get any points for answering user created polls/topics?
We do not give out rank up points for members answering other member’s content.
5. How do you get chosen to Test Products? I have signed up for several but never get chosen
Product testers are chosen at random, and also based on demographics that our clients are looking for. These are very popular and we have limited quantities. Please be patient with us for this option.
6. How often are these webinars? If already attend, can we attend again?
These webinars are offered every few months. We encourage members to attend all webinars, since we do give you a lot of information.
