Win up to 15,000 points for suggesting the next Giftie!
Hello members,
Back by popular demand, we’re asking you to tell us what to add next in the Gifties catalog! This month, we’re running a special 2-part promotion, where our members get to tell us what the next Giftie should be.
To participate in this month’s contest, simply visit our Toluna topic and post your suggestion* for what our next Gifties item should be. The member with the winning suggestion will see their submission added to the Gifties catalog by June 30th, and will be awarded 15,000 points!
We’ll be accepting your Gifties suggestions up until 5pm EST on Friday, June 20th, 2014. The Toluna Team will then review all submissions and select our top 5 choices by June 23rd. As a special bonus, we will award 1,000 points to the members who provide us those top 5 choices!
For part 2 of this contest, the top 5 will be announced to you through our blog and a Toluna Team poll. From here the decision is all yours. The suggestion with the most votes wins! Just be sure to cast your vote by Friday, June 26th, because the winner will be announced on Monday, June 30th!

*Terms and Conditions: Promotion is open to US residents only, age 13 or older. All Giftie suggestions and posts to the assigned Toluna Team topic must adhere to the Toluna Member Code of Conduct,and must not include any language that is obscene, insulting, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, untrue, misleading or invasive of someone else’s privacy. Toluna reserves the right to review all posts for content, and withhold bonus points from any user violating the rules mentioned above. Inappropriate posts will be removed, and posts that violate any Toluna terms will be removed, and the member’s account will be subject to closure, and all points will be forfeited. Giftie suggestions will be accepted through Friday, June 20th, and members will have the opportunity to vote on the five (5) top choices, as selected by the Toluna team. The top five (5) ideas and members who provided them will be announced by 5 PM EST on Monday, June 23rd. The member with the final winning suggestion will also be notified via email, and the 15,000 points will be awarded to the winner no later than Tuesday July 1st, 2014. In the event the winning Giftie was suggested by multiple members, we will award each member 5,000 points.
Title: New Changes to the Community Spotlight Contest
Good afternoon members,
For the past 8 months, we held a weekly contest where you and your fellow community members submitted your content for a chance to be chosen as our weekly featured member, and receive 5,000 bonus points credited to your Toluna account.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has participated during these last 8 months, making our Community Spotlight a fun and insightful event each week!
With that said, we are bidding farewell to our current Community Spotlight, and next week will announce a new and improved weekly feature, and this will be the last week where we have an open submission form on our Toluna Team account.
Details about our new feature will be announced next week, but in the meantime, if you would like to participate in our final Community Spotlight, please submit the URL link or Title of your Topic, Thumb-It, Poll, or Battle on our topic here.
