Toluna is pleased to announce the launch of our latest upgrade to improve the survey experience.
With this new and simplified feature, finding new surveys and navigating through the community has never been easier.
- You will now automatically be logged in when starting surveys from a survey invitation
- All surveys will end in the survey centre, where you will be able to find and easily access all available surveys you might be interested in
- You will be able to interact with the community (create content, vote etc.) without having to log in again.
However, for security reasons you will need to confirm your password BEFORE you can access personal account information or redeem rewards.
This is to make sure that all your data is kept safe while you enjoy this new and improved way of enjoying the Toluna experience.

For over 2 years now, since the launch of our latest mobile app, we have credited bonus points to everyone who created their first content on mobile.
We would like to take a few minutes to thank everyone who participated in this initiative. It was a pleasure reading your creations and rewarding you for your dedication.
After a long and glorious run, we have decided to put an end to this specific app bonus as of this month, May 2017.
Why? It’s simple, we are currently already awarding points to all quality content created on the Toluna.com, whether it be via the app of via our website.
- You can earn100, 500 and 1000 points per piece of content that you create.
We will therefore continue to reward you for your implication but the content bonus won’t be app specific.

Many of you have noticed we are having some technical difficulties with the “Followers/Following” section on your member profiles.
Our IT team is doing their best to resolve this issue as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Important information on this issue:
- All followers are still there in the database and have not disappeared.
- We are limiting the number of followers/following displayed on the page to 50 since showing them all was exactly the root cause for significant registration delays, overall site slowness and unresponsiveness we were seeing lately.
- We are already working on a solution to this issue, keeping in mind the limitation that we cannot show them all.
We thank each and every one of you for your patience in this matter and hopefully we will have this resolved shortly.

As this is a brand-new year, let’s give Member of The Week an upgrade! Every Monday starting February 6th we will choose our Member of The Week. We will pick our winner every Monday and send them a special email stating they have won our Member of The Week contest and offer them the chance to earn even more points! We will not announce any winner information until Friday of that week.

Are the contests the same on every site?
No, certain contests are for specific social media outlets or only for the Toluna site. Follow each of our accounts to enter all of the contests.
How do I clear my notifications?
Unfortunately, this is something we are still working on. We are aware of this issue and are working as quickly as possible to fix it.
What does one do when another Toluna member post a very rude remark to your content?
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or the “Contact Us” form at the bottom of the page with the link to the content and the member’s username.
How long will it take to receive a check?
Once you request a check it can take up to 6-8 weeks to process. For faster payments, try our Paypal option.
Is there a minimum age to be a member?
Yes, 14 years old.
Do you offer a referral program?
Yes, you can invite your friends to join Toluna by going to ” My Account” and under “Sharing Preferences” you can send them emails to join. You will earn 500 points for every friend who registers an account.
Is there an instruction manual or PDF available for constant reference?
Is there a max amount of points we can earn per day?
No, there is no maximum amount of points you can earn per day. Please be aware that points do expire though. See question below.
Did you say that points can expire?
Yes, points expire one year, on the 28th day, after they are earned. For example: if you earn 1000 points August 10, 2016, they will expire on August 28, 2017.
Is there a way not to have me fill in a lot of information only to find out I’m “not the correct demographic?
This is because some surveys are looking for a very specific group of people who meet a very narrow set of demographic criteria. Sometimes, determining whether someone qualifies for a survey takes just a few questions, other times it may take more questions. Please know we appreciate your participation and that even when you don’t qualify, your participation helps contribute to the success of the study.
Are we allowed to change our profile name?
Yes, you can change your username only once after registration. Go to your account settings.
Can we still access our account if we are traveling?
You can still go into the community but since your IP address will be different then where you registered, it may bring up red flags in our system and not allow you to participate in surveys.
Will you have test products in Canada?
We are still working on this. Right now, we still don’t have a firm answer.
What do I do if I have technical problems?
Please email your account information, Survey ID, and any valid screen shots along with your issue to email@example.com or the “Contact Us” form at the bottom of the page.
On Toluna, you can earn points by answering surveys, voting on polls and creating content (500-1000 points). Once you have amassed a sufficient amount of points you can exchange them for some cool rewards.

February has a special day dedicated to honoring the Presidents of the United States. This year, we would like to celebrate this wonderful day with our community by launching the President’s Day Topic Contest.
- Create a topic between February 8 to February 29th, 2016.
- Your topic’s title must begin with the phrase “President’s Day” in order to be officially entered. Here is a list of all the Presidents.
- You must include 1 fact about the President and 1 reason why you like that President
- You must also include a picture of that President.
- BE WARNED: All negative posts about current or past Presidents will be deleted and will automatically disqualify your account for this contest.
Every member will earn 1000 points for their entry. All entries that receive 100 comments or more on the topic will receive a 500 point bonus!
