New Contest- TOLUNA INTERVIEW

Hello Influencers!

We’ve been telling you just how much we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, be it by creating content, or by participating in our surveys. And for this, we’d like to share with you our newest initiative.

You like sharing your thoughts? Brilliant, we love listening to them! We’re launching today the monthly Toluna Interview contest. There’s 10.000 points in store for you!

If you want to participate simply post your opinion to one of the two topics below giving us two reasons as to why we should pick you to be interviewed. Every valid opinion will get 500 points. If you get selected we will reach out to you directly, and after you’ve finished the interview, we will publish it on our website, together with a picture of you, and then credit your account with a whopping 10.000 points! 

This contest will be held every month. The first interview will be published in December and will feature one US and one Canadian member.

Spook month is here already and we’re slowly preparing for the big Howl-o-een! So this weekend we’re doing a Friday the 13th Opinions Contest. Get your spook on and share with us your opinions, tales, anecdotes on superstitions about this gruesome date- Friday the 13th.

Participating is super easy, additionally it gives you a guaranteed 500 points, plus, whichever opinion gets the most likes will get an additional 5000 points.

Daily Theme – September 27, 2017

Hey there!

Most of the times we think it’s incredible just how advanced we are, or where technology has brought us. Just look at all that we are doing together, as a community; everything made possible by technology and advancement.

We are truly superbly lucky to be living in this era. But let’s also think of where we are headed. What the outcome will be, and what’s the ultimate goal?

We’re happy to announce a new Daily Theme contest that will focus on the future. We’re curious to know your thoughts on this matter. What’s the outlook for you? Or where do you see yourself in 10 years time? What’s the biggest thing you’d like to see humanity accomplish in the next 100 years?

We know you most certainly have thoughts and opinions- share them with us and earn 1000 points!

    I have been a member of Toluna for about 5 years.

    I log in at least 5 days a week.

    I prefer the check option as my reward.

    I like all of the Toluna contests. I would like to see more of their contests with larger points offered.
  5. What do you like best about Toluna?
     I really like everything about Toluna, especially the family-like interactions with my fellow Toluna members.

How does it work? 
Every day the Toluna Team awards Content Bonus points to members for posting high quality polls, topics, battles and thumb-its. We will tally those bonuses for the week, and the member with the most Content Bonuses will be awarded an additional 5,000 points for their great contributions to the site, and will be named our Member of the Week. Along with their 5,000 points, they can choose to participate in our Member of the Week interview and earn an additional 3,000 points.

Can you enter the Wednesday theme contest more than once?

Yes, you can make as many pieces of content as you would like for any contest. We will, however, only reward for one of your entries.

Does answering other members’ content help us or them receive a rank up bonus?

Answering other content does not earn you rank up points. Content creation will help you to receive points.

How long does it take to receive PayPal payment?

Paypal payments are usually sent within 2 weeks of your request date for the US and Canada.

How long has Toluna been around?

Toluna has been around for 15 years 🙂

I was wondering about the story post for April?

Is there any way to edit your own content after posted?

You can only modify content by choosing to “close” your content. If you need to have something deleted, please alert the helpdesk.

What can be done if you are in the middle of a survey and it just stops/disconnects and you can’t get back in to finish?

In the unfortunate event that this happens, please contact our help desk, and include the survey ID # which can be found from the survey email, or going into “My Surveys” section

If you share content you’ve created on your social media accounts is your own referral link included with the post?

Yes, the content link will be shared on Facebook and Twitter.

I have created content and complete a survey and have not received any points for using the app.

We usually reward app bonuses once per month.

Do we get notified via email if we win sweepstakes?

Yes, you will be notified via email if you are a sweepstakes winner.

Did you say that points can expire?

Yes, points expire one year after they are earned. For example: if you earn 1000 points April 13, 2016, they will expire on April 13, 2017.

Can you have multiple accounts with the same address? like, could my husband make an account?

You can have accounts with the same mailing address yes. You can have up to 3 people per household.

Can you cash out your points for a cheque in Canada?

We do not offer checks for Canada at this time.

Will sweepstakes become available for Canadian members?

We are working on it.

Are we allowed to change our profile name?

Yes, you can change your username only once after registration. Go to your account settings.

Toluna.com Essentials: Notifications

The Toluna community offers our members a chance to for our millions of members to express their opinions. In our series of “Toluna Essentials” we’ll go over all the techniques you can use to get the most out of your experience with Toluna.

When logging into Toluna.com, you will see the homepage screen above. If you go up to the top, you’ll see an icon that looks like a globe, and in this case it has the number “6” in orange. These are notifications. Our notifications will tell you when someone has written on your wall, when you qualify for a new survey, and also announcements like new reward offerings, and new contests. Be sure to check this every time you are on the site to keep up with the latest news and announcements so that you don’t miss out on major opportunities to win points!
