How to Create Engaging Content and Earn Bonus Points

The new year will be here before you know it and we’re here to help our wonderful Influencers learn more about earning those coveted bonus points just for creating top-notch content in the community!
The Toluna Team scours the community every single day for the absolute best posts that really get our brains thinking! When we see this super awesome content, we give you some bonus points. Who doesn’t like earning extra points just for having an interesting conversation?
I know you may be wondering… what exactly constitutes as engaging content? We are here to give you some top tips!
How to Create Engaging Content:
- Content should be thought-provoking and induce a conversation among one another. Is it a trending news topic? Is it a life long mystery of the world? If it is a question that makes you really think – then post it!
- It must be a Poll or Topic. As much as we love our Thumbs and Battles, we will no longer be giving bonus points to that type of content. We want to know your thoughts so we will only be rewarding content that includes a written response.
- Include a picture or video in your post to make it look more appealing. That “wow” factor can go a long way from pushing your content from the “recent” to “popular” section of our site.
If your content meets these requirements, we’ll give it a “rank up” meaning it will appear in the popular stream, and you will also receive bonus points for this. It can be anywhere from 100-1000 points. You will also receive a written notification on your wall like the one below letting you know that you received this bonus.
BONUS:
We also are looking for fantastic OPINIONS left on other’s topics. Yep, you read that correctly…. you can even earn bonus points for leaving a thoughtful response to someone else’s question.

Would you purchase this pepperoni perfection if it was for a good cause? As much as I love my pizza, I don’t think I would be able to rock these. Love the fact that it’s going to charity, but then I would be left with pizza sneakers…. and the only pizza I want to have is one that I can eat.

Today’s the day folks. Riverdale season 2 premiers on the CW tonight at 8:00.
Being a classic comic book fan, Archie and his gang sucked me right in for season 1. This twisty, dark take on the characters is something I never expected to like. To be honest, I am well over the age that I should be watching any show on the CW about a bunch of teenagers, but still…. it’s Archie. I had to give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did.
*Spoiler for those who haven’t seen this show*
Girl-next-door Betty Cooper shows off her bad side when “Dark Betty” appears, her alter ego that nearly drowns one of her classmates, all while sporting a fantastic black wig. Veronica tries her hardest to be the good girl and not get into trouble in this small town of Riverdale… which we know can never happen. The twists and turns in this show have me on the edge of my seat every.single.time.
Season 1 left us with a huge cliffhanger. Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews aka the beloved 90210 heartthrob Luke Perry, left us shot and holding on by a thread. Will Luke survive? Will my 90210 crush continue to be a regular in Archie’s world? I must know!

Who Lit The Black Flame Candle?
It’s official, according to Deadline, Disney is remaking the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus.
We don’t know how we feel about this.
Apparently, 2017 is the year of remakes and reboots. Almost every show we think fondly of from the past has come back to haunt us.
Will our beloved sister witches remain the same? I don’t know many people who could replace Sarah Jessica Parker, Better Middler and Kathy Najimy. As of right now, none of the original cast will be involved in this remake. Personally, I can’t wrap my head around a new set of Sanderson sisters.

Now that really struck a chord with me. I really started asking myself the same thing, and to my annoyance I could not come up with an answer to it. It seems so much time passed since my last proper adventure. Which made me want to ask you, when did you go on your last adventure, what did you do? What was adventurous about it?
