January Trivia Week 3 Answers


Thank you to everyone that participated in Week 3 of our January Trivia Contest. Over the past, week we posted a new question each day for you to answer.

Here are the answers for Week 3:

Jan 18: What famous book by Thomas Paine was published on January 10, 1776?

Answer: Common Sense

Jan 19: Utah became the 45th state on what day?

Answer:  January 4, 1896

Jan 20: What important US document was issued on January 1, 1863?

Answer: Emancipation Proclamation

Jan 21: What important historical leader changed January from 30 to 31 days in 46 B.C.?

Answer: Julius Caesar

Jan 22: Janus, the god that January was named after, had two heads. Which directions did the god Janus look in?

Answer: back at the old year and forward towards the new year, at the same time.
