How often may we participate in this Beginners Guide?
For now, you can attend the Beginners Webinar as many times as you would like. We do provide a lot of information and there is always a lot to learn. We update the presentation each session. We may limit this in the future, however.
Do Facebook friends have to have a Toluna account?
In order for someone to participate in your content created on Toluna.com, they will need to have a Toluna account. If you post a link to your content on Facebook, your friends can always comment with their answer on Facebook.
Are test products available in specific countries?
Yes, test products are only available in certain countries for now. You can login to your account to see if your country is listed
Regarding social media, do you receive points for having people sign up through your links?
Yes, you will receive 500 points for each referral once your friend completes their Toluna registration.
How many surveys are you allowed per day?
There is no limit for the amount of surveys that you can take. My suggestion would be to fill out your profile surveys so that can better match you to opportunities that fit your profile.
What is the recommended browser?
Toluna.com works best under Google Chrome and Internet Explorer web browsers.
How can you tell if your content has been upgraded?
When you go to the “My Points” page, you will see a description “Bonus for Content – Topic”. Rank up bonuses will be anywhere from 100-1000 points.
Are Quickvotes polls available for Canadians?
Quickvotes polls are available to Canadian members, however, they are not posted as frequent as some other countries.
Is there anything you have to do in order to enter the sweepstakes drawings?

I have surveys that have been open for 10 months what do I do?
The best option is to use our contact form. Please include the survey ID# if you can, along with your username and any other information you can give. The more specific you are, the better.
Why am I kicked out of a survey even if I spent less than 5 minutes completing questions?
Some surveys are looking for a very specific group on people who meet a very narrow set of demographic or other criteria. Sometimes, determining whether someone qualifies for a survey takes just a few questions other times, it may take more questions. Please know that we appreciate your participation and that even when you don’t qualify, your participation helps contribute to the success of the study.
Why do we have to input the same demographic info for every survey? Can’t it be saved?
We are working on a system that will save your information, but for now you must re-enter your information in the screener questions so that we can make sure surveys match your profile.
This has nothing to do with points, but how can we stop someone from following us if we don’t want them to?
You cannot stop someone from following you, but you can request to block a member from accessing your page. Just let us know through our contact form.
What if your PayPal address is different than the email address where you receive your surveys?
Your PayPal address does not have to match the email address you use to login for Toluna.com. Please make sure that your PayPal email address is valid, however.
Are we limited to one member per household or can family members also join?
Yes, members of the same household can sign up for Toluna.
Thank you, Lauren for the Webinar. Are there any rewards, aside from Gifties, for less than 30,000 for Canadians? I am asking because I saw a page during the webinar that showed rewards that range from 7,500 points and up. Thank you, Miss. S.
There are plenty of opportunities to earn points on our site. The amount of points varies per survey.
Can you add friends? If so, how do you do it?
From your Profile icon tab, select “Account”, and go to “Sharing Preferences”. You can then use the form to invite friends directly from your various email accounts.
How long does it take to get paid by check?
Checks are processed every week and are usually mailed out and delivered within 2-6 weeks. Currently we are experiencing a slight delay but we should be back on track by the end of the month.
Are the number of votes counted in content bonus decisions?
Sometimes the number of participants and votes are a factor for content bonuses, however, the Toluna Team is more concern about members who are creating content that is interesting, creative, grammatically correct, and uses images or videos.
How can i participate in test products?
Go to the “Test Products” page under the “Explore” tab and pick which product you would like to test. Once you have completed the sign-up process you will be added to the randomized list and, if selected, you will receive the product directly in the mail.
I don’t get emails from toluna even though i am a member, why?
There may be a few reasons why you are experiencing this problem. The first is that you may need to verify your email. My next suggestion is to make sure that emails from @toluna.com are not blocked or marked as spam. Add us to your “safe” list on your email account. You can complete this by going into the settings of your email account. Lastly, you can visit https://us.toluna.com/YourZone and click on “settings” to opt-in or opt-out of certain emails from our company.
